    Despite not having succeeded in buying La Grange I want you to know that Armance made every constructive effort possible to move us towards the purchase. She was very patient with our questions, she arranged three visits with artisans and was extremely helpful in every respect.

    We had been quite clear for some time that our offer would be subject to a detailed assessment of potential costs which in our view meant a purchase price of ~€400k….in the event we went to €425k but, understandably, the sellers took the higher offer.

    We are still searching and I hope that Armance will succeed the next time.

  • Answers to all our questions

    With Belle Maison’s help, we bought our home in the summer of 2015. We had seen some properties with other realtors, but Belle Maison were unique in that they showed us only places that actually meshed with our ‘wish list’, and, that they had viewed the properties before taking us to see them. They found answers to all our questions, and pointed out issues that we might not otherwise have seen. In fluent English they patiently guided us through the French real estate process, and even sat with us through all our meetings with the Notaire to ensure our understanding of the transaction.
